Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5
Father God we thank you that your desire is that ALL men be saved and that you have made a way for the salvation of every human soul. We pray that the eyes and hearts of the peoples of Algeria would recognize the Way to your Kingdom.
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:14
Heavenly Father thank You for Your grace. Today we ask that this sin of false religion that reigns over Algeria be broken and not have dominion over these people. Open their eyes to see the grace and forgiveness of the cross and believe in You and the Father who sent You for their redemption. In the precious name of Your Son Jesus we pray.
Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. James 3:18 Heavenly Father the peace You give is not the peace the world has. May the believers in Algeria ‘sow in Your peace’ and we claim the harvest of righteousness you have promised. We praise your Holy name that your promises are trustworthy. Amen and Amen!
Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses. Acts 13:39 Lord Jesus we pray for a spiritual awakening. May the peoples over the world, but especially in Algeria, see it is ONLY through you and not through any other laws or ways, will we achieve an eternity with you. Open the eyes of their hearts to see and understand this truth in Jesus mighty name we pray.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8
Lord Jesus we want to praise you today for Your promises and your faithfulness in fulfilling them. Now we pray for the millions of Muslims all over the world who are seeking You this month and pray that as they seek You, You will be revealed to them and they in turn will be drawn to You.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true; whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy–mediate on these things. Philippians 4:8
Our God and Father in heaven, we thank you for Your Holy Spirit who indwells each and every one of Your children. Today we Pray specifically for Your children in Algeria – give them the strength needed to show these characteristic to those around them during this difficult time of hardship and persecution. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus our Lord. Amen!
When the day of Pentecost came, …….we heard them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?” Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: “ ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ Acts 2:1-21
Heavenly Father we again ask that just as in days long before You will pour out Your Spirit to the Algerian people in dreams and visions and prophesy resulting in many calling on Your name for salvation, in the precious name of Your Son Jesus we pray.
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Now there were God-fearing Jews from every nation. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” Acts 2:1-12
Heavenly Father, you sent Your Spirit to this world to indwell your people. WE pray that again peoples of the world will have ears to hear the declaration of your wonders anew, and as a result of hearing they will believe! We stand together with the believers in Algeria asking for boldness for your children to utter the things you have done for them. Thank you for Your indwelling Spirit who grants wisdom and strength!
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1:9 -12
Lord Jesus we are so thankful that you ascended into heaven in order that you could send your Holy Spirit to be our companion. We pray that the people of Algeria will allow your Holy Spirit to indwell in them and guide them into Your truth!
That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.” Matthew 13:1-9
Lord Jesus we want to praise you today for the seeds that have scattered in Algeria and pray that they would fall on ‘good soil and produce a crop that is a hundred fold’ in Jesus name!
