Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. Psalms 91
Lord Jesus today we ask for your protection on the peoples of Algeria. Lord both for those who call you Savior and Lord and those who have yet to come to that realization. On behalf of the people in Algeria we pray for open doors of opportunity and God ordained encounters where people are able to call out for salvation and protection.
Romans 13 - Let everyone be subject… For there is not authority except that which God has established. Heavenly Father we pray for those in authority and power over the people of Algeria. Pour out your Spirit on the rulers making Your Word know to them. Let wisdom enter their hearts! Expose the hidden secrets of the hearts. Let the nation of Algeria return to its roots as a Christian nation.
Romans 13:8 – Jesus Christ – the same yesterday today and forever! Holy Father, who does not change, who established His throne in the heavens and whose kingdom rules over all – we come asking for your deliverance, protection and healing to the peoples of Algeria who have been scarred by trauma and wars. We give you praise, for your Son Jesus Christ, who was wounded for our transgressions and by HIS stripes, we are healed. We ask for your healing to begin in the lives of these people and healing for the nation.
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. Psalm 51:17 Almighty GOD we come stand before you on behalf of the peoples of Algeria, Lord they are broken in Spirit and longing to reach You. Thank you that you do not despise the brokenness but YOU give restoration, freedom and deliverance. This is our prayer for all Algerians – may their brokenness lead them to YOU.
Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare. Sacrifice and offering you did not desire but my ears you have opened, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require. Then I said, “Here I am, I have come, it is written about me in the scroll. Psalm 40:5-7 Father God we pray for an opening of the ears and eyes of the Algerian people. Give them recognition of who you are, and the wonders you have done.
Then Samuel took a suckling lamb and sacrificed it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. He cried out to the Lord on Israel’s behalf, and the Lord answered him. I Samuel 7: 9 Father God, just as the prophet Samuel cried out to You and You heard and answered him, we too cry out for the those in Algeria who are crying out seeking the way of righteousness. Hear their prayer and answer the cry of their heart.
That is why we said, ‘Let us get ready and build an altar—but not for burnt offerings or sacrifices. On the contrary, it is to be a witness between us and you and the generations that follow, that we will worship the Lord at his sanctuary with our burnt offerings, sacrifices and fellowship offerings. Then in the future your descendants will not be able to say to ours, ‘You have no share in the Lord. And we said, ‘If they ever say this to us, or to our descendants, we will answer: Look at the replica of the Lord’s altar, which our ancestors built, not for burnt offerings and sacrifices, but as a witness between us and you. Joshua 22:26-28 Father God we pray with Joshua of old, may the descendants (ours and those within Algeria) share in the sacrifice and offerings of Your SON which provides salvation leading to eternal life with GOD the Father. AMEN
Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. Genesis 22:13 Father God, the Algerian people remember the sacrifice Abraham made many years ago. Almighty God, open their eyes to see the sacrifice of YOUR son so many years ago. Open their hearts to receive this sacrifice of deliverance in the mighty name of your Son Jesus we pray. AMEN!
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Matthew 5:7 Our Father, today we pray for hearts filled with mercy for the believers of Algeria. May your children be filled with mercy and see these lost people through the eyes of Christ our Saviour and lead them into saving knowledge of the risen Lord.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled. Matthew 5:6 Our Father, today we pray for those who long for your Word just as one longs for food and drink. Be with the believers in Algeria who struggle to have their spiritual hunger satisfied. May You provide marvelous works to glorify You name.
