Mariam became deaf in her early childhood after a bad fall. She has a son but no husband, yet offers no explanation.  Since Muslims believe that only infidels can commit immorality, this shame is hidden. Mariam became fast friends with the first Christian lady she has met; they light up when they see one another. This friend has shared the Gospel in many ways with her sisters but, since she is dependent on their translation in their own private sign language, it is not clear what she understands about Jesus.

• Pray that Jesus would give her dreams and visions revealing who He is to her
• Pray that the Gospel message would be translated well
