Take time to remember:

"But take care and watch yourselves closely, so as neither to forget the things that your eyes have seen nor to let them slip from your mind all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children’s children"  —Deuteronomy 4:9

During Advent we look back and remember Jesus’ birth. We look further back than that and remember God’s plan for all of humanity right from the start. The Lord of all creation made a plan for its redemption and salvation. Take a moment to really stop and think about that.

Pray: Father of Creation, I praise You today because you loved the world so much that you made a plan to rescue us from sin and death. It blows my mind that your plan to save me involved sending your Son Jesus to earth as a baby…
