An Algerian worker writes:
Today, God is on the move by His powerful Holy Spirit in Algeria. In a town where a dear missionary lady worked many years ago, many have come to faith and the power of God’s word is known in the whole area. One day, a sick young lady went to see an Imam to help her to get better. Often, the Imam practiced sorcery on sick people. But this time he gave her a booklet. “Read it and you’ll be healed” he said to her. She was shocked to see it was a Christian gospel! She went back to him angrily to complain. But instead, he firmly told her to read if she wanted to be healed! She tried to read it but she did not understand. She went to the Church nearby to get the answers for her questions. The believers there explained to her the love of God and the power of Jesus’ Name and His Word. They laid hands on and prayed for her. She was healed and gave her life to Jesus. Praise God that His Word will not return to Him void!
