What are blessings?
Prayers of blessing are usually expressions of God’s intended goodness prayed by ordinary people who pray in the power of having their hearts aligned with God’s heart. Prayers of blessing are always prayers of hope.

How to pray blessings?
1. Seek God to know what is in His heart.
2. Request what you know God desires, or what you see is much needed.
3. Turn your request into a statement which describes a future, a hope, or a destiny.
4. Declare the blessing over a specific nation, or over all of North Africa.

Today, we want to bless the nations of North Africa with the Presence of God.

Use Scripture as a starting point and then turn it into prayer. Here is an example :

May He come down like rain upon the mown grass, like showers that water the earth. In His days may the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace till the moon is no more… Psalm 72:6-7

May the days of Your presence come swiftly to North Africa. Bring Your wisdom, plant Your joy, infuse Your jubilant loveliness, add Your mighty righteousness, so that Your presence will become a never-failing peace.

May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. All nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed. Psalm 72:17

As sure as the sun will rise, so sure is the truth of who You are. Shed the light of Your name on all the people of North Africa. May Your ancient promise – that every people will be blessed – soon be fulfilled.
