If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
—1 John 1:8,9
Lord, may your generous forgiveness be a distinguishing mark in both our own lives and in the lives of your people in Algeria, amen!
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
Today we bless those in Mauritania who are tested in their love for You, Jesus. Help them stand strong. Let them feel the great honor of Your reward. Give life to those who love You. Protect them and give them good health. May they find that fear grows less and courage grows bigger as they keep their eyes firmly fixed on you. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen!
First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgiving, be made on behalf of all people, for hints and all who are in authority in order that we may lead an unprovoked and quiet life… 1 Timothy 2:1-3
Pray for the salvation of the King of Morocco, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and his family. Thank God for his compassion and good governance in Morocco. Pray that he may have wisdom and discernment. Pray for his son, Prince Hassan III, as he grows up being prepared for future leadership. Ask God to reveal Himself to this boy while he is still young.
Like the psalmist tossed his sandal upon Edom during a battle battle (Psalm 60:8), we toss our shoes on the map of Libya as a prophetic act to claim this land for the Kingdom, in Jesus name!
March 13th, 2015 witnessed the start of Egypt The Future, the Economic Development Conference which aims to help the Egyptian Economy regain its health in the coming four years. After the Revolution of 2011, many people lost their jobs, many others lost their normal income level, and many lost any sustainable ways of supporting their families.
“All kings will bow down to him; all nations will serve him. For he will rescue the needy when they cry out for help, and the oppressed who have no defender. He will take pity on the poor and needy; the lives of the needy he will save.” —Psalm 72:11-13
Let us pray in the coming week that:
- The Lord may give wisdom to the political leaders of Egypt,
- The Lord will make all kings and political leaders serve His Purposes for Egypt,
- The Lord may have mercy on the Egyptian Economy and fill the needs of the countless poor, oppressed, and needy people.
- The Lord may restore Egypt’s Economy and bless its people so that they may search for him and find him.
May millions of Tunisians be able to join in this song of praise:
Sing to the LORD a new song; Sing to the LORD, all the earth.Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.(Psalm 96:2)
Pray for the poor and marginalised in Morocco.
- Ask God for provision of more jobs.
- Pray that the King and government will invest more into job creation and economic stimulation.
- Pray that He will be Provider.
- Pray that ministries trying to meet the needs of these people will be successful.
- Pray that the Kingdom of God will grow and expand among the poor and marginalized.
But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.í
We pray Lord, Jesus that your children in Libya will be like trees planted by the Living waters, and bear fruit in these difficult times of spiritual drought and heat.
