Monthly Archives: December 2015

Lord Jesus, today we say along with the psalmist David, and on behalf of the people of Algeria, that You alone are our light and salvation – whom shall we fear? The Lord is the stronghold of our life – of whom shall we be afraid? When evil men advance and enemies attack, they will stumble and fall; my heart will not fear. One thing we ask of the Lord and this we seek – that we may dwell in the house of the Lord.

The Magi form the East asked ‘Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.’

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. —Matthew 2:2,11

Father we pray for Libyans to see the Star coming from Jacob and worship Jesus. Not with gold and earthly treasures, but as a living sacrifice. (Numbers 24:17)

A New Year.. A New Season

One year, 2015, is ending, and another is starting next week. Many have been praying for Egypt and believe that the coming year is the year of God’s Favor on Egypt. Let is pray for a breakthrough in the spiritual realm, a breakthrough that can breakdown the power of the enemy in the coming year, and lift up high the Mighty Name of Jesus who saves the lost, heals the sick, and sets the captives free.. Pray these words for Egypt in 2016 from Isaiah 61: 1- 3: 1 The spirit of the sovereign LORD is upon me, because the LORD has chosen1 me.2 He has commissioned3 me to encourage4 the poor, to help5 the brokenhearted, to decree the release of captives, and the freeing of prisoners, 2 to announce the year when the LORD will show his favor, the day when our God will seek vengeance,1 to console all who mourn, 3 to strengthen those who mourn in Zion, by giving them a turban, instead of ashes, oil symbolizing joy,1 instead of mourning,

Advent 2015 – Week 4 – Friday – Christmas!

Lego Wise Men

Savior eternal,
life of the world unfailing,
light everlasting
and our true redemption.
Taking our humanity
in your loving freedom,
you rescued our lost earth
and filled the world with joy.
By your first advent justify us,
by your second, set us free:
that when the great light dawns
and you come as judge of all,
we may be robed in immortality
and ready, Lord, to follow
in your footsteps blest, wherever they may lead.
Salus Aeterna

We wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! May His Presence flood your heart, your home and your life today. May the Lord bless you and keep you and convince you of His great LOVE for you today.

Christmas Day: Today we celebrate the arrival of the King of Kings, Light of the world. Thank you Jesus for coming to earth as a human being! We give you praise, glory and honour. May Tunisians join today to sing your praises.

Lord God we thank you that You have set up the times and the season; You set up kings and dispose of them. You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. Lord, today we thank You that you sent the King Of Kings to deliver all people, and Your wisdom to all who seek You with their whole heart.

Advent 2015 – Week 4 – Wednesday

camel in desert at sunsetEach of us is an innkeeper who decides if there is room for Jesus —Neal A Maxwell

Reflect: Have I made room for Jesus in my life? Have I surrendered my life to Him? Have I invited Jesus to be part of my life, today and every day in the future? Have I been so busy that there is no time for Jesus in my life? Have I in any way been like the innkeeper and shut Jesus out of some part of my life?

Pray: Jesus, I invite you to come into my life a fresh today. I want to have a real relationship with you. I want to love you more, know you more, and I want to be more like Jesus. Help me do this today and in the coming year. Amen!

Advent 2015 – Week 4 – Tuesday

We often hear the phrase, “Jesus is the light of the world”.

Read: Isaiah 60:2, John 8:12, John 9:5

Reflect: Stop and reflect today on what that really means!

Imagine: Here is another opportunity to engage your imagination. Try to picture the world in complete darkness.  The rule of sin seems complete. And then Jesus was born.  Its like a bright light was sent from heaven all the way to earth in the form of a baby. The Light has arrived. No more is our world in complete darkness, because now we have access to the Light of Life.  Praise God for this.

Pray: Father, in this world there seems to be a lot of darkness. We hear bad news stories all the time. There are such overwhelming amounts of pain and suffering. Holy Spirit, remind me today that Jesus is the Light of the whole world, once and for all time. Because of Jesus, there is light in my life. Fill me afresh with that joy and light that I need to be able to live and shine in this dark world. Amen.

Advent 2015 – Week 4 – Monday

Advent and Christmas is a wonderful time of year for fun, celebration, and joy. Here is a short video made by a group of children in New Zealand. It’s their twist on the Nativity. If you’ve got kids, gather them around to watch this together. If you haven’t got kids, watch it anyway. Laugh a little. May God fill you with His joy, peace and hope today as you reflect on the wonder of the birth of our Savior, Jesus.

Here is another video clip from the church in New Zealand. A modern day news media version of the Christmas story. It’s very well done!
