Praise God for 3 new believers in a city in Morocco. There is a father and son, and another young man. The two young Believers were recently caught by the police trying to give a Bible to another Moroccan who didn’t want one. Subsequently they spent a short time in the police station before being released. Their faith has only grown through this experience and they have less fear now than ever before. Praise God for this. Pray also that they might grow in wisdom and discernment as they are bold to share their faith. May they learn not to press the Bible upon people who are not open or interested. May God bring into their lives others who are seeking and open to hear the Gospel. May a new house church grow through these new Believers. Pray for those who are discipling them to disciple with love, wisdom and freedom.
‘He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’(1 Pet 2:24)
As intercessors we announce forgiveness of sins and healing of wounds to all Libyans in Jesus name.
This is a very special weekend. A big prayer conference is held with the theme “Show Me Your Glory”. It’s very clear there’s a very deep hunger in the heart of the Bride for her Bridegroom. The Holy Spirit is ushering her into HIS presence and showing her HIS beauty. Pray for a church, a bride, filled with the Holy Spirit that her eyes may be dazzled by the beauty and glory of the King. Pray for a church filled with the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. Pray HE answers her hunger with more of HIM manifested as HE becomes the Bride’s ONLY interest and desire.
May the Church in Tunisia carry the message of the precious blood of Christ, the lamb without blemish or defect this Easter, to every corner of the country. (1 Pet 1:19)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
“Lord God today we thank you that your promises are sure and we claim this today for your people in Algeria – may they feel Your presence with them wherever they go and in whatever situation they find themselves in.
Pray for a group of Believers who are meeting secretly and in much fear. Pray that they might experience the Holy Spirit in their midst, building up their faith. Pray that they will be taught by the Word of God to grow into maturity. Pray that God will provide for them all that they need. Pray that they will learn to love one another and take care of one another just like the early Church did in the book of Acts.
Praise God for five young people who have recently made the decision to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. They are all university students. Pray for them as they are discipled, to grow rapidly in their faith. Pray that they might have boldness and courage to share this decision with their family and friends. May they bring many others into the Kingdom through their witness. Pray for protection over their new-found faith. Pray also for plans to hold a short weekend retreat for young and new Believers, so they can connect with each other, encourage one another and have fellowship with other young Christian Moroccans.
For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. —Matthew 7:8
He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. —Hebrews 9:12
It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. —Hebrews 10:4
We pray Lord Jesus for Libyans will realise to futility of animal sacrifices and embrace the power of your blood, spilt for us.
After a life of suffering, he will again have joy; he will know that he did not suffer in vain. My devoted servant, with whom I am pleased, will bear the punishment of many and for his sake I will forgive them. —Isaiah 53:11 Good News Translation
Thank you, Father for providing a way to deal with sin and offer forgiveness. We pray that many Tunisians will embrace that provision this Easter.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Lord Jesus we thank you that your love for us is immeasurable. We pray that the peoples of Algeria would realize this and accept the love you offer.
