Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. —Zechariah 2:11
Father God, we proclaim that the people of Tunisia will also join and become part of your Kingdom. We thank you for sending Lord Jesus to make this possible.
And He said to them, ‘Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts?” Luke 24:38
Heavenly Father, give Your children in Algeria the assurance when doubts set in, that you indeed are with them; You have promised never to leave them and You alone will sustain them through adversity. May we stand with your peoples all over the world as one.
“Are you the one?”
Now when John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples and said to him, “Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?” And Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them. And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.” —Matthew 11:2-6
Take a couple minutes to listen to this song as you lift up Mauritania to Him again.
- Pray that Mauritanians who are asking Jesus “Are you the one…?” to encounter Him.
- Pray that there will be sign after sign of the kingdom; so that people can tell of what they see and hear.
- Soften hearts and take away offense, so that many may find the one they have been looking for all along.

The Love of God
Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made;
Were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry;
nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky.
Oh, love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure, the saints’ and angels’ song.
This closing verse from the hymn “The Love of God” illustrates the glorious nature of God’s love. We want to be in awe afresh of the magnificence of His divine love.
- Pray for a revelation of God’s love in the hearts of many Moroccans. God is not a trickster or taskmaster, He is love.
- Pray for Jesus followers to be faithful and bold carriers of His love, in word and deed. May God’s love touch homes and workplaces, ushering in the healing and hope of His Kingdom.
- Pray for those who are carrying shame and sorrow to have become glad recipients of the love that God desires to pour out. Enlarge our hearts, O Lord.
May His love triumph in Morocco.
“I want to know the true way” Man from Algeria.
“The Way” campaign was run twice this year. The campaign consisted of a series of videos and social media posts about who Jesus is and what he said about himself. Also published were chapters from the gospel of John. The first campaign was ran in March 2016 for 15 days in 10 Arab countries. The second campaign ran in September 2016 targeting North African countries.
The message was presented to thousands of people. It also left a huge impact on them. some of them started reading the bible ” the book they didn’t believe in before”, others shared with us their pain and personal problems. They asked for advice and prayers, and some of them prayed and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
“I prayed from my heart” response to a post on salvation prayer.
The September 2016 campaign garnered 369k video views and almost 50k people watched the videos in their entirety. There was 4.1k comments and 1.7k shares.
Join us in prayer for:
- Effective and fruitful followup
- Passionate knowledge seekers
- That future campaigns would bring more seekers to Christ
This was a report received by the Pray North Africa Team
“Shout it aloud, do not hold back.
Raise your voice like a trumpet.
Declare to my people their rebellion
and to the descendants of Jacob their sins.
Abba Father, we pray for the church in Libya to be your clear voice in the country. May the church boldly proclaim your Word on issues regarding politics, ethics, justice, economy and religion in Jesus name.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;" —Philippians 4:6 NKJV
Many times we get caught up in prayers and intercessions but lose the focus on thanksgiving. Father today on behalf of the nation of Egypt we stand before the Throne to give YOU thanks for the many good things YOU’ve blessed this nation with. Thank YOU for the protection and provisioning even in times of extreme need like these days. Thank YOU for the thousands of Muslims who put their faith in YOU every year. Thank YOU for YOUR dreams in Isaiah 19 for this nation, for YOUR church in Egypt and for the signs and wonders YOU’RE showing her. Thank YOU for the dreams and visions and for the heavenly visitations. Thank YOU for a young generation that YOU are calling to run hard after YOU and they’re answering YOUR call. Thank YOU for the Egyptian missionaries and mission work that’s sent by YOUR grace out of this nation. Thank YOU for YOUR grace and mercy. Thank YOU for showing YOURSELF to Egyptians. Thank YOU for loving this nation
Thank YOU for being YOU. We so honor YOU and love YOU.
As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents,that he was born blind? “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.” —John 9:1-2
Thank you, Lord Jesus that you came to display Fathers glory to us. You are truly the Light of the world. We pray for the physical and spiritual eyes of the people in Tunisia to be opened and healed, that they can see your marvelous light.
For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth! JOB 19:25
Our God and our Redeemer, praise You that as YOUR word says, You will come again! Thank you that we will be change and we have a future and a hope! Reveal yourself to the peoples of Algeria that they too will look forward and long for your appearing.
Open eyes and Burning Hearts
“When [Jesus] was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. They asked each other, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?’” —Luke 24:30-32
Pray for Mauritanians who have started to read the scriptures and are pursuing truth.
Pray for those who are drawn to Jesus. Pray also for those who are reading the Old and New Testament in order to disprove it.
- May their eyes be open.
- May they recognize Jesus for who He is.
- May their hearts burn as their encounter Him through His word, by His Spirit.
King of Glory. Have Your Glory. Light up Mauritania with Your Holy Word.
