We have a report from workers in the field that they are wrapping up an in-country exploration in Tunisia looking for new opportunities to shed light in this dark context. They would appreciate your prayers for wisdom, direction and clarity on what the Father wants.

Pray the following over the Tunisian Church today:

“May the LORD bless his land
    with the precious dew from heaven above
    and with the deep waters that lie below;
with the best the sun brings forth
    and the finest the moon can yield;
with the choicest gifts of the ancient mountains
    and the fruitfulness of the everlasting hills;
with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness
    and the favour of him who dwelt in the burning bush
Deuteronomy 33:13-16

Heavenly Father we pray for those men and women in authority and having power over the people of Algeria. Pour out your Spirit on them and make Your Word know to them. Let wisdom enter their hearts! Expose the hidden secrets of the hearts. Let the nation of Algeria return to where it came – as a Christian nation.

When You Speak…

Pray for the Mauritanian families that God is pursuing. Pray that the living Word will encounter each heart and change the atmosphere of each home. Let there be light.

Join us in a song by B. and K. Torwalt

When You speak
Darkness has to bow
Confusion has its final hour
When You speak
Mountains rise and fall
Its tears down every wall around me

When You speak
You breathe upon the dust
You come alive in us
When You speak
You silence every fear
We feel Your Spirit here around us

Let there be light
Let there be light
Until it fills up every space
Come and have your way
Let there be light
Let there be light
Just one word and I am changed
Come and have Your way

When You speak
You breathe upon the dust
You come alive in us
When You speak
You silence every fear
We feel Your Spirit here around us

Now You're everything we seek
As deep cries out to deep
We will see God
Here Your glory on display
Jesus, take your place
We will see God

"Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. Zechariah 2:11

Lord, we know you want all people to be saved and none to perish. We pray that the Libyans will also become your people to join worship at the Throne in heaven.

Tunisia’s tourism revenues have risen 19 percent so far this year, reflecting a recovery in a vital sector crippled two years ago by attacks on foreign holidaymakers. Tourism Minister Salma Loumi said 4.58 million foreign tourists visited the North African country between Jan. 1 and Aug. 10. Arrivals from neighbouring Algeria were up 60 percent, helped by a promotional campaign by Tunisia, while visits by European tourists rose 16 percent.  Reuters

We thank you Lord for you are good. You are faithful and compassionate. There is none like you!

Holy God we give YOU thanks for the work that is being accomplished. We pray that a great harvest of souls will be brought forth from the effort. We ask for the walls to fall between the precious Muslim people and the Christians who love them and seek only good for them. Pray for protection for the workers’ bodies, minds and spirits. Pray they will be encouraged, more labourers will step forth, needs will be met, and their vision will bear much fruit.

Our Heavenly Father, who does not change, who established His throne in the heavens and whose kingdom rules over all – we come to you today asking for deliverance, protection and healing to the peoples of Algeria who have been scarred by trauma and wars. We give You praise, for your Son Jesus Christ, who was wounded for our transgressions and by HIS stripes, we are healed. We ask for your healing to begin in the lives of these people and the nation.
