In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

“My name will be great among the nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to me, because my name will be great among the nations," says the LORD Almighty. Malachi 1:11
Lord God Almighty, there is none like you in heaven or earth or under the earth. We pray that Tunisians will know and understand how great your name is among the nations.
“How lovely is Your dwelling place, O Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the Living God” Psalms 84:1-2
Almighty Father, may the Algerian people experience Your presence today.
Classrooms of Mauritania
Pray for the children and youth of Mauritania as the new school year begins.
Only about 5% of Mauritanian high school students successfully pass the exams that qualify them for a high school diploma and a place in university. This is due largely to an underdeveloped education system, and in part to a culture that places higher value on preserving traditions than on learning or innovation. As such, many children and youth encounter discouragement and frustration in their studies.
- Pray for God to bless each Mauritania classroom with vitality and vision.
- Declare hope over the students of Mauritania. Pray for this generation of youth to break away from the negative cycles of the past.
- Bless each young mind in the name of Jesus – may they be filled with curiosity, creativity, and determination.
We believe that future followers of Christ are among these dear students of Mauritania. And we pray that they will begin their journeys in Him soon.
I Will Remember
"I will remember the deeds of the LORD ; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples. You with your arm redeemed your people, the children of Jacob and Joseph." Psalm 77:11-15
Let’s pray this passage over:
- Christians in Morocco who are discouraged or in a stagnant place on their growth as disciples
- Moroccan Muslims who have tasted the power and love of Jesus but have yet to take steps towards Him
All praise and honour to God, who was and is and will be our strength and salvation.
‘Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed-- and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors-- and they have no comforter’ Ecclesiastes 4:1
Father of all comfort, the people of Libya are oppressed and imprisoned by Islam, violence and corruption. Without you there is no hope or way out. Please reach down from heaven and scatter the enemy, in Jesus name.
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.Isaiah 60:1-2
Arise Oh Lord over Egypt. Arise and scatter Your enemies. Arise Oh Lord and make Your glory known in the Land of Egypt. Cover Egypt with Your glory.
Holy Spirit awaken the watchmen on the walls, awaken the apostles, awaken the prophets, awaken the shepherds, awaken the teachers.
Arise Oh Lord, may Your enemies be scattered.
‘Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.’ Hebrews 7:27
Thank you Father, for sending your only Son, Jesus Christ to save sinners. Thank you, Lord for interceding for Tunisians to come to the Kingdom.
“You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you make the Most High your dwelling- even the Lord , who is my refuge-then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. ‘Because he loves me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My name.
He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.'”
Heavenly Father, thank You for being a refuge and fortress even to the peoples of Algeria!; a God in whom they can trust. Thank You for walking with them, promising that when they put their trust in You, You will protect, even when facing terrors at night or arrows during the day, Lord, help the Algerian people not to worry about tomorrow. Instead, we pray they trust in You alone In Jesus’ name, Amen
‘Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.’ Psalm 107:13-14
The Libyan Dinar is very weak and there is often a shortage of cash. This is partly due to corruption and creates serious problems for ordinary Libyans. Employment is low, criminal gang activity high and difficult to start a business or attract any foreign investment.
Lord Jesus, we pray for those in authority to find solutions to the economic challenges. We pray that Libyans would seek and find you, the Prince of Peace and Provider.
