“Fill your horn with oil and be on your way…” 1 Samuel 16:1 We pray for Tunisian Christians today, Lord Jesus, to allow you to fill them with your anointing oil and share the good news everywhere they go.

If we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Lord Jesus we praise Your name for the faithfulness you promise in forgiving our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. Today we ask that the Algerian people will accept this promise, and turn to You for cleansing and spiritual healing; in the powerful name of Jesus! Amen.

See beyond the Messengers

Pray this passage over Mauritania – may Mauritanians come face to face with the face of Christ, through the ordinary lives of Messengers who are “filled up with light.”

“Remember, our Message is not about ourselves; we’re proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Master. All we are is messengers, errand runners from Jesus for you. It started when god said, ‘Light up the darkness!’ And our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful. If you only look at us, you might well miss the brightness. We carry this precious Message around in the unadorned clay pots of our ordinary lives. That’s to prevent anyone from confusing God’s incomparable power with us.” 2 Corinthians 4:5-7 The Message

Religion to Relationship

Pray for Fes-the religious capital of Morocco. Pray for the religious leaders and scholars of Fes. May there be those who are like “Nicodemus” among them; seeking after Jesus and daring to pursue truth. May the Word of God come in power among them, cutting through strongholds and lies.

We proclaim over every mosque and religious institution in Fes: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV

By the power of God, may Fes become known as a place of “relationship” with God rather than “religion.”

Jesus was Lord, but before He started His ministry, He went into the wilderness to fast and pray. He knew the power and place of prayer for the expansion and transformation of the kingdom. There is no way that you are going to succeed in the ministry if you don’t believe in the power of prayer, if you don’t practice what prayer is. Miraculous Movements, Chapter 3

“When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognised him.” Luke 24:30-31 As intercessors for North Africa, we pray Lord, to open the Libyan’s eyes to recognise you as the Truth, the Way and the Life.

Presidential Elections

Who says of Cyrus, ‘ He is My shepherd, And he shall perform all My pleasure, Saying to Jerusalem, “You shall be built,” And to the temple, “Your foundation shall be laid.” ’ Isaiah 44:28

Elections will start 16 March (for Egyptians living abroad) then 26-28 March in Egypt. It’s very obvious that the current president Abdel Fattah ElSisi will probably be reelected. But please pray that The Lord will turn his heart and start a new season.

Abba speak about this man that he would do all Your pleasure among Your people Egypt. Abba we stand for Your purposes and Your Kingdom. Let Your Kingdom in the land of Egypt and may Your will be done in Egypt as it is in heaven

A m e n !

Perpetua and Felicity (believed to have died in 203 AD) were Christian martyrs of the 3rd century. Vibia Perpetua was a married noblewoman, said to have been 22 years old at the time of her death, and mother of an infant she was nursing. Felicity, a slave imprisoned with her and pregnant at the time, was martyred with her. They were put to death along with others at Carthage in the Roman province of Africa Died March 7, 203, feast day March 7, Carthage.

Lord Jesus Christ, we marvel at the boldness and courage of these two martyrs. May their story ‘sound out’ like a trumpet over Tunisia.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galations 5:1
Lord Jesus today we thank You for setting us free! Free from the burdens of ‘slavery’ to do or be something in order to earn the gift you died to bring all mankind! We pray today in the mighty name of Jesus, that the Algerian people will stand firm, setting aside the ‘yoke of slavery’ and accept Your free gift of forgiveness, salvation and eternal life.

God of All Comfort

“Blessed be the God and Father our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Pray for Christ-followers who are sharing life with Mauritanians who are suffering, in despair, or grieving.

Praises be to our Father of mercies and God of all comfort.

May Christ-followers find grace and strength in their ability in Him to comfort those who are in every kind of affliction.

May the Lord’s grace be more and more fully known as His people share in his sufferings and comfort.
