Ramadan just ended a couple days ago. This is a time of family gatherings in Morocco.
Pray for Christian Moroccans during these weeks of family reunions and gatherings. This could be a very difficult time for some of them. There could be a lot of pressure from family members to profess and practice Islam. Some may be ostracized, others might be shunned. There are also some whose families don’t yet know about their faith in Christ.
Stand with our brothers and sisters in prayer during this time.
- May they know the presence and power of God in fresh ways, even in the midst of interactions with non-believing family members
- May they experience breakthrough in family relationships; breakthroughs that lead towards openness to Christ
- Whenever they open their mouths, may words be given to them that they will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which they are ambassadors in chains. Pray that they would declare it fearlessly, as they should (paraphrased from Ephesians 6:19-20).
- May the love of God overflow in and through them, filling their households with His transforming presence
